Jill Purce is recognized internationally as having pioneered both sound and ancestral healing movements, teaching all over the world since the 1970’s. She re-discovered ancient vocal techniques, developing the spiritual potential of the voice for healing and meditation. She is also one of the first people to introduce family constellations as a means to healing family and ancestral trauma alongside ceremony and chant. She is the author of The Mystic Spiral, Overtone Chanting Meditations and Healing Voice.
She lives in London with her husband Rupert Sheldrake, and their two sons: musician Cosmo Sheldrake, and author and biologist Merlin Sheldrake.
