Nami got interested in English and foreign culture when she visited New Zealand when she was 14 on a culture exchange program hosted by her hometown and a town in New Zealand. She found herself amazed at how beautiful and how wide the world is. In university, because she wanted to improve her English abroad in an English-speaking country, she decided to work as a teaching assistant supporting Japanese language classes at a public school (K-12) in the US.
